Au Pair and Nanny Workshops Comprehensive and informative nanny / au pair training workshops

are designed to equip you with all the tools of your trade to perform as an au pair or a nanny with an Australia based family or as a basis to help you secure a position in one of our exotic overseas destinations.


Once you have completed the training you should be able to:

  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of a nanny / au pair
  • Enhance the further development of children
  • Guide children’s behaviour by using appropriate behaviour techniques
  • Ensure client service standards and code of practice are met
  • Follow appropriate health and safety procedures
  • Organise / plan experiences for children
  • Understand the legal requirements of your position
  • Develop, implement and promote effective communication techniques - relating to employer, family and children
  • Set suitable routines and programs for the day
  • Respond to illness, accidents and emergencies
  • Foster children's self help skills
  • Interact positively with children
  • Support the rights and safety of children within duty of care guidelines.
  • Upon completion of the workshop you will receive:
  • Certificate of Completion
  • Written reference of your suitability as a childcarer and phone reference
  • Opportunity to be placed with our families and available nanny / au pair positions
